This demonstrates the research pillar because I gathered and analyzed information to improve learner performance and classroom practices. I identified learning gaps and adjusted teaching methods to suit learner needs. Research enabled me to make informed decisions that enhanced effective teaching and learning. The findings revealed that some learners experienced difficulties understanding abstract concepts when lessons relied mainly on verbal explanations. To address this challenge, I incorporated visual aids, practical demonstrations, and group activities into my lessons. I also provided remedial support to learners who required additional assistance. This research activity improved my ability to analyse learner needs and develop appropriate interventions.

One of the most rewarding activities during my WIL was participating in a vegetable farming project. Together with learners and community members, we prepared garden beds, planted vegetables, watered crops, controlled weeds, and monitored plant growth. The project promoted food security and provided practical agricultural skills to learners. It also encouraged teamwork, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. Through this project, learners gained hands-on experience in crop production while understanding the importance of agriculture in improving livelihoods. The harvested vegetables contributed to school feeding programmes and benefited members of the surrounding community. My involvement in the project demonstrated the community service pillar of Education 5.0 because it addressed a community need while promoting sustainable development and practical learning. The experience also strengthened my ability to work collaboratively with learners, teachers, parents, and community members toward a common goal.
